some of you may know i have an less than pure interest in nathan fillion (he of firefly/serenity fame).
as such, the following desperate housewives news from the hollywood reporter thrills me beyond all measure.

Love love love Nathan Fillion. I might just have to bite the bullet and start watching Desperate Housewives… {sigh}
Jason and I stumbled upon an event a couple of weeks ago whereby we were able to watch Serenity on the big screen again. Some guy here in Portland started this event last year. On Joss Whedon’s birthday (genius writer behind Firefly & Serenity & Buffy), he gets a theater to show the movie, and the proceeds go to Joss’s favorite charity, Equality Now. The event has expanded to ~50 cities around the world, and this year they raised over $90k for Equality Now. I bet they showed it in Mpls, too.
